The selected project of Our college won the championship in the 9th Jiangxi "Internet +" College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

Recently, the 9th Jiangxi "Internet +" College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of "China Construction Bank Cup" was successfully held in Ganzhou. The project of "Make the best use of pollution—the leader of resource recycling" selected by our college won the provincial championship after fierce competition, which was also the fourth consecutive year that Nanchang University won the provincial championship.

In the national environmental protection, waste acid treatment is an urgent and important task. High cost, low recycling and heavy pollution have brought great challenges to the environment and the steel galvanizing industry. The project team of "Make the best use of pollutionthe leader of resource recycling” is devoted to make contributions to environmental protection through innovative technologies. During the whole project, the team always adheres to the importance of environmental protection, combines the national environmental protection policy and sustainable development goals, and solves the problems in the field of waste acid treatment through technological innovation.

Under the leadership of Teacher Zhimei Li, the team created “GUIS” waste acid treatment technology, and independently developed a set of grading impurity removal system, which removed impurities fully in waste acid through the combination of mesh + membrane with double filtration. At the same time, they used a composite reducing and precipitating agent to achieve battery-grade ferrous oxalate and recycling acid, which greatly improves the efficiency of resource utilization and environmental quality.

The team will take responsibility and mission as the driving force to promote the technical progress and development in the field of waste acid treatment and make positive contributions to the national environmental protection cause.

China International "Internet+" College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is a major innovation and entrepreneurship competition co-sponsored by more than ten central ministries and commissions such as the Ministry of Education and local provincial people's governments. Since the first competition was held in 2015, it has been held for nine consecutive times. The competition has become the largest double-creation event in China and even in the world, and it is an important window to show the achievements of higher education reform in the new era.

In November, 2022, our university started the work of the 9th "Internet+" Competition, which lasted for 9 months. There were 6,457 project teams and 12,350 students participating in the competition. Twenty-two projects went to Ganzhou to participate in the provincial finals after layers of selection and overcoming various difficulties, and achieved excellent results. That shows the youthful grace of our university students who dare to forge ahead and create.

During the preparation and organization of this year's "Internet +" competition, our school attached great importance to it, and all departments in the school cooperated with each other. Our college mobilized and promoted it extensively, and actively held activities such as training camp for innovation and entrepreneurship competition to improve teachers' guidance ability and students' innovative and entrepreneurial practice ability. Taking the competition as an opportunity, we stimulated college students' innovative potential, actively guided them to actively participate in innovation and entrepreneurial practice, promoted employment through entrepreneurship, and practiced the requirements of the times with the most beautiful.
